Our commitment
Open Money supports the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C. As a small, remote-first digital financial services company, our footprint comes mainly from purchased services, cloud computing and travel. This plan sets out how we will measure and reduce it.

Resources
The director is accountable for this plan and spends at least 4 hours a quarter on it. We have budgeted $500 a year for emissions measurement tools or advice, and use free government tools where suitable.
Working with stakeholders
We ask key suppliers for emissions data, tell our team about the targets and invite their ideas, and report progress publicly each year.
Approval and review
Approved by the board on 23 October 2026. We report progress each year and update this plan at least every 36 months (next update due by October 2029).
