Our purpose
Open Money exists to change money for good: fighting financial inequity so everyone can flourish.
We help Australian households find, get and stay on their best financial deal, starting with their biggest expense, the home loan. Every saving we find stays with the household, so more people have enough and can build a secure future. This purpose guides what we build, who we serve and how we measure success, and it is approved by our board.
Our commitment to human rights
Open Money commits to respect human rights across our operations and value chain. We commit to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights (including the rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights), and the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. If you believe we have fallen short, please raise it through our grievance procedure below.
Our commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion
Open Money commits to treat every customer, worker and partner fairly and with respect, and to make good financial outcomes accessible regardless of background, income, gender, age, disability, culture or postcode. This commitment applies to our policies and practices across our operations, our customers and the communities we serve. Our director is accountable for it, and we review it every year.
Lobbying
Open Money does not engage in lobbying and makes no political donations. If this changes, we will publish a responsible lobbying policy approved by our board before we begin.
Raise a concern
Anyone affected by our business (customers, workers, suppliers or the community) can raise a concern by emailing [email protected], anonymously if they prefer. Our grievance procedure explains how we handle it.
Our climate action plan
Our climate action plan sets out our commitment to the 1.5°C goal, our targets and how we will meet them. It is published alongside this page.
Approved by the board (sole director resolution) on 23 October 2026. Reviewed at least every 12 months.
